When you are a new mom returning to work, the prospect of pumping breastmilk at the office can be daunting. One of the biggest challenges is figuring out the “how and when” of how to pump breast milk at work. Key elements are privacy, having your equipment on hand, storage available – i.e. co-workers, get those soda cans out of the fridge (ha ha), and a few minutes in which to get this done! Easier said then done. I was so traumatized by this with my first baby it makes me nervous even to think about it, but HANG IN THERE! Step #1 is getting organized, which includes getting the right information and the right tools. So I hope the pumping at work tips I’ve presented in this little video will be helpful to you!
